To mark the school's 25th anniversary and closing in 1985, a reunion was held on the weekend of July 5-6, culminating with a banquet and dance at the CBN Curling Club (now the RecPlex, opposite St. Francis) in Harbour Grace.

A commemorative booklet for the reunion was printed by Bayside Printers and included lots of JMCH trivia and scholarship winners. A brief programme was also printed for the banquet.
